An authentic Catholic education since 1863

St. Mary School provides an authentic Catholic education that forms students into lifelong learners with an understanding of the call to service.

Our Mission

Growing in wisdom, grace, and a call to serve

Rooted in the Catholic faith and the Franciscan tradition, St. Mary forms the hearts and minds of children in a Christ-centered environment. We honor diverse learning styles, encourage critical thinking, and call every student to a life of service to the community.

As the only Catholic school in Noble County, we are proud to carry forward more than 160 years of faith-filled education for families across Avilla and the surrounding area.
